He was baptised as: Siaosi Tāufaʻāhau Tupoulahi. In his youth he was called: Tāufaʻāhau. When he came on age he got the chiefly title for crownprinces: Tupoutoʻa and was named as such. After the death of his father he also got the title Tungī and was named Tuboutoa-Tugi (in old ortography) and as such known being the prime minister. And as king he was known as Tāufaʻāhau Tupou IV, and ex officio he also was then the Tuʻi Kanokupolu. FOKI
